Teacher Only Day ✏️ (07.08.26)

Friday was such a lovely day for our team to step away from the day-to-day, spend some time together and focus on us as a team.

We started the day focusing on communication, conflict and camaraderie. Having honest conversations about how we communicate, support one another and work through challenges together. A great reminder that a strong, positive team culture starts with all of us

We were also lucky to have Kiri, an Early Intervention Kaiako, and Queeva join us for some PLD around the document ‘He Māpuna te Tamaiti’ We explored children’s behaviours and what they may be communicating, helping us to better understand their needs and find ways to support them in our everyday ECE environment.

And, of course, we couldn’t finish a Teacher Only Day without getting creative! We spent some time making new resources for our tamariki and our learning spaces. Look at us go!

A big thank you to our whānau for supporting us and helping make our Teacher Only Day possible. We’re grateful for the opportunity to keep learning and growing alongside one another! ❤️

Our tamariki had a meaningful and busy ANZAC Day at Kids Reserve!

We were lucky to have Andrew share his rendition of “The Last Post,” explored a range of activities across the centre, learnt a new song, and even baked our own ANZAC biscuits 🍪❤️
