We mourn the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis, called home to his Father on Easter Monday.
We give thanks for a man who lived his life with deep faith, humility and love.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

Room 1 students have been learning how to keep themselves and others healthy. We did an experiment to show how far germs can spread if we don't cough and sneeze into our elbows. We used a spray bottle of 'snot' (green food colouring) and tested how far it would spread. We then showed how much a tissue would catch.

Last night we held our leavers' dinner. A chance to farewell our Year 8 leavers, listen to speeches about their memories of St Bernard's and present trophies. They are amazing young people who are more than ready for their next learning adventures at college and who we will miss having around the school.

What a fabulous time we had on Wednesday evening for our Nativity play and end of year celebration! We have some budding actors and actresses at school, many with impeccable comic timing. It was a lovely night to be grateful for a fabulous year, say goodbye to our leaving Year 8s and also remember what this coming time of year is really about, Christ our Lord.
