Our garden is glowing today! 🧡✨

There is something magical about a child discovering their first flower. These vibrant calendulas are just one part of our cute outdoor space at Moriah Kindergarten.

Being an Enviroschool in the heart of Wellington means we nurture a love for the environment in every child. It might also mean that many of these lovely flowers will be used in potions and play today!

What a thrill for our tamariki to visit the beautiful exhibition by artist Theresa Kit Wai Lo at Thistle Hall Community Venue! We saw fish, chickens and beautiful bird and lots of gold 🌟🌟🌟Thank you for having us

Have you ever signed your name with a feather quill? The 4 year olds at Moriah tried it today! We were learning about Te Tiriti ō Waitangi and became interested in all that old curly writing. It was fun and of course....a bit messy!

Our teachers are so amazing - and do you know they speak so many languages? Dutch, Spanish, Hebrew, Japanese and kei te ako tonu tātou i te reo Māori. We really are a language rich enviroment here at Moriah!

For Tu'Bishvat this year we worked hard clearing weeds from the Titiwai/Glow worm habitats in Central Park. We worked hard and collected so many weeds! Then we ate peach cake on the grass in the sunshine. What a wonderful way to care for and appreciate nature/te taiao. 🐛🌲🌳🌞🍊
