This Pride Month, we're celebrating graduates carving out lives in dance on their own terms.

Loughlan Prior is reimagining classic stories through a q***r and feminist lens.

Rinrada Aunyaratroungroj is building international opportunities for dancers across Asia and, in her words, feels proud of her identity as a transgender woman.

Tabitha Dombroski has danced everything from World of WearableArt to hanging off a Sydney skyscraper for World Pride and now dancing with Ballet d'Jèrri.

Different paths, one shared belief - that there's space for you in all that you are.

Loughlan Prior / Dance + Visual Rinrada A. Muay Tabitha Dombroski Thank you for sharing your kōrero with us. 🏳️‍🌈

MoanaShowcase ✨ - NZSD

🌺 The Heilala In The Concrete Garden carries the mana of the moana into the city, drawing inspiration from the iconic Māori and Pasifika bands of the 60s and 70s and exploring how culture continues to thrive within urban landscapes.

🌧️ to stand, and again (forever) journeys through memory, kinship, and connection to land—finding wonder in rain-soaked skin, mountain views, and the quiet act of learning where we belong.

⏳ In The Meantime sits in the uncomfortable space of waiting, navigating impatience, restlessness, and the tension between resisting time and surrendering to it.

Together, these works invite us to pause and reflect on the spaces we inhabit, the places that shape us, and the moments in between that transform us.

This rainbow walkway is part of who we are at . A daily reminder that this is a place where everyone belongs, exactly as they are.

This Pride Month we share our commitment to the visibility, equality and support of LGBTQIA+ communities - every day and for every person who moves through our doors.

Today is World Environment Day 🌍

Our student-led environmental group remind us that looking after the world we move in starts small and starts with us.

Reusable bottles carried everywhere they go. Because the daily choices are the ones that add up.

Ngā mihi nui to Wainuiomata Marae for welcoming our students with your manaakitanga, generosity and the kōrero held within your wharenui.

"Whaowhia te kete mātauranga"
"Fill the basket of knowledge"

This Whakataukī (Māori proverb) sits at the heart of who we are. Dance is a lifelong pursuit of learning, and so too is our commitment to honouring Te ao Māori as a living part of our school.
