We are Wellington's Community Education Centre - or CEC for short. We offer over 700 courses for adults annually. We have a long and proud history of providing affordable courses for over 100 years! People often refer to us as "night classes" but we are so much more - offering day time and weekend classes as well. Join us, step in - there's a world of learning on your doorstep

You’ve voted, and the results are in! This year's Tall Poppy Real Estate People’s Choice Award goes to Autumn King, designed by three-time WOW Competition finalist, Catherine Anderton.

This enchanting kārearea enveloped by leaves captured the hearts of 2025 WOW audiences throughout the show season thanks to its depth of detail and playful stage presence.

“It had all the hallmarks of a crowd favourite… you could hear the joy it brought the audience at each show,” says Sarah Nathan, WOW Head of Competition.
