Hi everyone!

We are currently looking for participants to take part in a study that is carried out by VUW's School of Psychology.

We want to capture the body language of empathy and therefore, you'll get to wear the original motion capture suits that are used on movie sets to create animated characters.

You will engage in meaningful conversation with an experiment partner while we record your body and face movements and other things, like your heart rate. 👩‍⚕️🤗

Your experiment partner can either be a family member (18+), a friend, your partner or we will set you up with a stranger.

In return, all our participants receive 4 MOVIE VOUCHERS per person or GROCERY SHOPPING VOUCHERS with an equivalent value. You also get to see your own animated body on a screen. 😮

The study takes about 4 hours.

For any further information or if you are interested in participating, please e-mail [email protected] with the header EMOTION.
