Our tamariki had the best time on our special outing to Te Papa this week!

From the exciting ride on the public bus to exploring Te Taiao exhibition, walking through Bush City, and hunting for dinosaur fossils, it was an afternoon full of fun, discovery, and big smiles!

Our incredible KTeam spent the evening upskilling alongside the fantastic team from Engage. A massive shoutout and thank you to our facilitators, Mina and Calum, for leading such a meaningful session with us.

Today we had a lovely visit from Lorraine from Wellington City Council, who talked with our tamariki about recycling and caring for our environment. The tamariki explored how to differentiate between glass, metal, cardboard, and plastic and enjoyed learning through fun songs, music, and storytelling! 🎶📖

A wonderful hands-on learning experience that encouraged our tamariki to care for Papatūānuku. 🌏💚

🎨✨ Our tamariki had so much fun creating their own photo frames using ice cream sticks! They let their imaginations shine by drawing their whānau, kaiako, funny faces, and more, before decorating their frames with gems, glitter, and pom-poms. Every creation was unique and full of creativity. Ka rawe, tamariki! 💛
