We believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and celebrated.

We create a place where every tamariki can explore who they are, build confidence, and enjoy learning through play.

Kia Ora Whānau! 🚗❄️

Let’s be completely real for a second—navigating our busy roads on these dark, rainy winter mornings is no joke. Between the relentless traffic, awful visibility, and cars constantly darting in and out of traffic, we’ve all seen (and cringed at) far too many close calls and accidents out there lately.

Safe journeys to and from your center are just as vital as safe play inside. That’s why we are launching a center-wide Winter Safety Blitz!

🛡️ The Mission: Lock It Before You Launch
Wrangling a heavy capsule, a massive umbrella, and a wriggling toddler while traffic flies past is basically an Olympic sport. It is hard work, and we get it! But taking that extra 10 seconds to ensure our precious little passengers are perfectly buckled, clicked, and tension-checked is the single most important thing we can do before braving the asphalt.

🤝 Look Out For Your Village
Because getting in and out of the car in a freezing downpour is tough on everyone, let’s bring that true community spirit to our car parks. Let's look out for our fellow whānau:

See a parent struggling in the rain? Be a legend—hold an umbrella over them or offer a friendly hand.

Notice someone wrestling a sticky seat clip? Give them a smile and an extra set of eyes.

This isn't about lecturing you with a checklist; it’s about owning our community safety, protecting our gorgeous tamariki, and making sure every single one of us makes it home safe and snug. Check out our Active Explorers Kaiwharawhara quick guide to master the ultimate winter click!

Expectation: Elegant dining. 🥂
Reality: Absolute food-filled carnage. 🥞

Our "Blind Brunch" fundraiser finale quickly evolved from a polite taste test into a full-scale food fight! We certainly didn't plan for the food to fly, and while we take the issue of food waste very seriously, we have to admit—the video was just too hilarious not to share.

Consider this a one-time-only, high-energy lesson in why we usually prefer to keep our food on the plate! It is for charity after all !

A massive THANK YOU to all our incredible families for your overwhelming support and generous donations to the Kindness Collective. We are so proud of our community’s spirit.

And, of course, a special shout-out to our two "culinary combatants," Tejal and Liz, who were such good sports (and who were on full clean-up duty for the rest of the afternoon!). 🧼✨

A joyful moment as our kaiako and tamariki explored music together, shaking instruments and creating wonderful sounds.

Talofa lava whanau! 🌺

It was so wonderful to have our Samoan families over to celebrate this beautiful culture together today! We had the best time singing, dancing, and coming together as a community❤️

Ready to see your favourite teacher covered in brunch mess? 🥣✨

We are thrilled to be an official Pyjama Drop-Off Zone for the Kindness Collective this June! We need your help to collect brand-new, cosy winter pyjamas to keep local children warm this winter.

Want to join the fun? Here is how to play:

Donate: Bring in a pair of brand-new, long-sleeved winter pyjamas (Size 0–16).

Get a Token: For every pair you donate, you get a "Brunch Token."

Can’t make it in personally?
If you have a friend or a member of our amazing whānau who is already heading into the centre, they would be more than happy to drop your donated pyjamas into our collection bin for the Kindness Collective. 😉

Cast your Vote: Have you seen a teacher on our feed you’d love to see wearing a face-full of pudding?
Make sure if you are sending a whānau member in with your donation to tell them who you want to vote for, and make it happen!

What we need:
Brand-new children’s winter pyjamas (Size 0–16). Flannelette is perfect!

Let’s help some local kids stay warm and have a laugh while we’re at it! Who’s getting your vote? 🗳️👇

🦖 Dino Rescue Mission 🦖
The tamariki took part in an exciting dinosaur rescue operation! The dinosaurs were trapped in threads and the children worked together to carefully free them. They explored different ways to rescue the dinos, using their fine motor skills, problem-solving, and perseverance throughout the experience.

Some tamariki even went to grab scissors to help cut the dinosaurs out of the trap safely. ✂️

There were lots of conversations, teamwork, and excitement as everyone worked hard to save the dinosaurs. What a fun hands-on learning experience! 🌿🦕
