"Ako Teach te reo Māori waiata and mahi toi sessions is a unique service that plays a significant roll in the education sector.

Our mission is to help and support tamariki and tangata to not only learn te reo Māori, but also everything that evolves around ‘Te ao Maori’ tikanga, whenua, our atua and acknowledgement of Māori views, how Māori see the world around us. He pakiwaiata āpōpō, Kei te pēhea koe? How are feeling? Our tamariki are really good at expressing their feelings, and what better way to show how we are feeling by making a face paddle.�This activity is a great starting point for teaching young children about emotions. …Allow children to be creative through arts and craft activity that can help preschoolers understand emotions.

Afternoon people. Greetings to you all and this week we celebrate Māori Language. Tuna from Porirua visits with all his friends tomorrow, so bring your dancing shoes as we will be dancing with him. Ahiahi mārie koutou mā. Tomorrow’s pakiwaitara we go on a haerenga with Awarua and Rereroa to Porirua harbour. Awarua learns to fly with the help her best friend Rereroa the Albatross. Mā te wā e hoa mā.
