5Rhythms Emerging Waves dance at Awhi Yoga & Wellbeing Emerging Waves is a space held by a 5Rhythms® Teacher in Training. In this class, you are invited to move through the 5Rhythms with simple guidance.

I warmly invite you to join me on Sunday 14th June 2026
for a gentle dance where we hold grief in one hand and gratitude in the other.

Grief is not something we need to get over—
it is something we learn to carry. And when we allow it to move,
to be felt, to be witnessed, it can soften and breathe within us.

In this space, you are invited to listen to your body—
to follow sensation, rhythm, and breath - and to drop in only as far as you feel resourced. What is being asked of you right now? patience, humility, gratitude, glimmers of celebratory joy.

This will be a gentle, spacious playlist. A place to move with what is here, while staying open to love.

My mother died at the beginning of May. This dance is a way I am honouring her. Grief can be about many things, not only people.
My mother Marita found God in wide-open spaces, and that spirit lives in this offering.

You are so welcome to come as you are to move, to feel, to simply be. This dance will be free or option of koha Julie

Where it all begun as Dance Unity in Invercargill maybe 9 years ago. My mum kept this cutting. Thank you Mum for believing in me.
