This week, we celebrated Cook Islands Language Week with a fun and meaningful learning experiences! ✨
Our ngā tamariki explored the beauty of Cook Islands culture by creating their own Ei Katu flower crowns and necklaces. They also enjoyed learning simple Cook Islands greetings, helping them appreciate the language and traditions in a hands-on way. 💕

Our Pūkeko tamariki enjoyed a trip to the beautiful Basin Reserve. 🌿⚽
As part of our learning journey, we explored outside our community, building confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging in the wider world. Ngā tamariki loved exploring the open spaces, observing their surroundings, playing together, and creating wonderful memories.
These experiences help children learn through exploration, social connections, and discovering new places in our community. 🌼

Last week we had an exciting visit to the local fire station! 🚒
Ngā tamariki enjoyed exploring the fire truck, meeting the firefighters, and learning about fire safety. It was a fun and memorable experience that helped build confidence and community awareness.

A little throwback to our visit to Newtown Library last week. 📚🚌✨
Ngā tamariki had a wonderful time exploring the library and especially enjoyed riding the bus to get there. It was a fun day filled with books, learning, and new experiences. Looking forward to our next visit!

🚌📚 Today, ngā tamariki enjoyed an exciting adventure to the Newtown Library by bus!
The bus ride was full of giggles and excitement as we travelled together. Once at the library, ngā tamariki explored a wonderful variety of books, discovering new stories, favourite characters, and interesting topics that sparked their curiosity and imagination.
What a fantastic day of learning, exploration, and fun! 💛

Our ngā tamariki enjoyed a wonderful visit to Pukeahu National War Memorial Park. 🌿
As we explored the beautiful surroundings, our tamariki shared their curiosity, observed the memorials, and talked about the importance of remembering those who have served. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with our community, appreciate the peaceful environment, and learn through exploration.
