Exciting news - the Jubilee book is finally at the printers. The book has grown to include a really interesting history about the Weedons area, lots of photos, history of the school and stories from ex-pupils. We will let you know when it is available - will be a great Christmas present :)

Weedons School Reunion Lunch

Given that the 150th Jubilee had to be cancelled, it was thought that a reunion lunch could be a great way for those of us who might not make the 175th Jubilee to get together again. We have therefore made a decision to hold a Weedons School Reunion lunch targeting that vintage.

Jubilee Cancelled

As with many other events, Omicron has made it unviable to hold the Jubilee and we have therefore decided to cancel it. We are disappointed to have made this decision but in the interest of everyone’s health and safety believe it is the right one.

We are pressing ahead with completing the Jubilee Book as we feel strongly about collecting and recording as much information now that we can. We hope to be able to launch this along with planting the Jubilee trees at a special afternoon event later in the year.

We need everyone’s input into this book – we want to make it a history of Weedons School. Keep following the page as we will be asking for articles, anecdotes and photos.

If you have already paid your registration, we will be in touch (once school settles down) to refund this. Alternatively, you could email [email protected] with your bank account details to speed the process up.

Jubilee Celebration Postponed

Due to the uncertainty with Covid and lockdowns, we have decided to postpone the Jubilee Celebration until 8th & 9th of April 2022.

All registrations remain active but if you wish to change your registration or get a refund, please contact us on [email protected]
