Congratulations to all our talented students who entered Waverley Primary’s Got Talent! We are incredibly proud of everyone who had the courage to perform and share their amazing talents.

🎉 What a special community we have here in Waverley! 🌟 Yesterday we had a lovely surprise from Tony and Chelsie Hoeta. Tony works for River City Trees and they had recently run a firewood raffle at the Waverley Markets. They kindly donated the $500 proceeds from the raffle takings to our school! We are blown away by the kind gesture and generosity - thank you!

On Saturday, our two netball teams came head-to-head in the B Grade finals at Laird Park.
Our Bumblebees took the top spot, finishing in first place! They started the season in C Grade and worked incredibly hard to reach the top of B Grade.
We are so proud of both teams and their amazing effort throughout the season. Well done, everyone!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️On Friday, we held our annual school cross country. The weather was fabulous, and it was wonderful to see our students giving it their all, encouraging one another and showing great determination.
Congratulations to all our place-getters and to every student who participated. We are incredibly proud of your effort and perseverance!
A special thank you to our wonderful parent helpers and to our amazing PFA for running the BBQ. We are also very grateful to the golf course for allowing us to use their grounds, and to Waitotara School for joining us. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🎾 Today, some of our senior students competed in the Super 6 Racquet Sports competition.It was a fantastic and successful day, with Waverley Primary placing 1st in tennis and 4th in badminton! 🏸

All of our students represented the school wonderfully and had an excellent day out. A big thank you to all the local contributing schools for making it such a great event!

This Saturday, our two Intermediate netball teams will go head-to-head in the B Grade Finals!
Having one team make the finals is an incredible achievement, but having two teams reach the final is something truly special. We are so proud of all the hard work, dedication, and teamwork our students have shown throughout the season.
Come down to Laird Park this Saturday at 11:00am and cheer on our students as they take the court. We would love to see plenty of support from our school community!
