🌸 Spring has sprung at kindergarten! 🌱☀️

The gardens are growing, the flowers are blooming, and our shade sails are back up — ready for lots of outdoor adventures, messy play and making memories!

We’re looking forward to a wonderful spring and would love to welcome some new little faces to our kindergarten community.

We had such a fun Teddy Bear’s Picnic Day at kindergarten today! We played games, baked, had a picnic with our favourite teddies down in the back garden, and spent the whole day playing with them and our friends.

Today we were very lucky to have some special guests at mat time! Not only did we have Heather from the Warkworth library do Storytime, but she was also accompanied by Mango the dog!!! Mango is a trained therapy dog and has a weekly spot at the library available for children to read stories to him! Mango came with his owner who is also one of our wonderful relievers. Today our children drew him pictures and took some time to tell Mango about their drawings. Mango was a great listener and fabulous at sitting on the mat! He joined in for Storytime and was such a lovely guest! Another great connection with our community!!!

We love sensory experiences at kindergarten! 💛 We know not all families get the opportunity to explore these activities at home, so we make sure to provide plenty of hands-on sensory experiences here.

The children absolutely love getting stuck in, exploring different textures, materials and sensations while learning through play. So much fun and so much learning!

Arlee's Lamb Visited us today at Kindy. There was so much excitement from all of the tamariki getting the opportunity to pat the little Lamb. They were very entertained by the sweet 'barr' noises too.
