RACE NIGHT | POSTPONED 🐎🖤💛
Unfortunately, our Race Night fundraising event planned for this Saturday has been postponed until Term 1, 2027.

While we’re disappointed not to be going ahead this weekend, we look forward to bringing the event back next year and will share the new details once they’re confirmed.

For anyone who has already purchased tickets, or has any questions regarding the postponement, please send us a DM and we’ll put you in touch with the event team.

Thanks for your understanding and we’ll keep you posted with more details for 2027. 🖤💛🏉

The Pittaway Family Derby Race Night is coming up on Saturday 5 September, and we’d love to see a big MAC Rugby crowd there supporting our programme.

MAC hosted 133 students across 10 teams for an intense, sunny day of competition against Wakatipu High School.

MAC took wins in 9A and Senior B Netball, Girls 1st XI Football, and Junior A Basketball, with Boys 1st XI Football finishing in a draw. Wakatipu High School narrowly edged out overall victory by just a single point after tight wins in 10A and Senior A Netball, U15 Rugby, and both 1st XV Rugby matches.

A massive thank you to all of our coaches, managers, referees, and supporters for making the day such a success!

Touch Rugby trials for the 2026/27 season will be held in Week 8 and possibly Week 9. Trials are for Year 9-13 who are interested in playing competitive or Year 9/10 school competition. If you're interested in playing social, please see Di Roy in the Sports Hub.

Nominations for the MAC Sports Awards 2026 are open. Students, parents, and community members are invited to submit nominations across our award categories. The Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements, talent, and dedication of our student-athletes, coaches, teachers, and volunteers. Aligning with our school vision and values, to highlight success across all levels of school sport. In addition, there is an opportunity for students to be recognized for their national and international achievements.

Last chance for entries for the Get2Go Challenge in Queenstown on Monday, 14 September. Teams of 8 (Years 9 & 10, all skill levels) will compete in orienteering, mountain biking, and kayaking/SUP.
