A little taste of spring crafting!
I’m loving the fresh green shades in this card, created using the Simply Leaves Bundle and blending brushes. I blended three shades of green onto Basic White Cardstock, then added a little water to create those gorgeous organic spots before punching out the leaves.

I’ve combined the leaves with vellum, Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper and a textured card base to create a card that feels fresh and natural.

And there’s a video tutorial to go with this card!

I love a card design that lets the Designer Series Paper do most of the work!

This simple Designer Series Paper sketch card uses four strips of DSP layered over a contrasting piece of cardstock. It’s such an easy layout, but the finished card has plenty of visual interest.

I used the beautiful Glow of Harvest Designer Series Paper for this version, choosing the pumpkin design. But the great thing about this sketch is that you can change the DSP, cardstock and sentiment to create a completely different look.

One of my lovely followers even created her own version after my live on Wednesday and added ribbon underneath the sentiment. I thought this was such a lovely touch for a birthday card!

I had so much fun creating this camera birthday card for my nephew, combining two of his favourite things – photography and the great outdoors!

I used the beautiful Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper as the backdrop, then added a silver embossed camera with a little wilderness camping scene inside the lens.

There's something so satisfying about a fun fold card that looks impressive but is easier to make than you'd think!

This week I've been creating with the gorgeous Beautiful Ordinary Life Suite, and I couldn't resist turning it into a twisted easel card. The beautiful Designer Series Paper does most of the hard work, while the embossed flowers, soft watercolouring and layered die cuts add plenty of texture and detail. Inspired by Tammy Wilson.

One of my favourite features is the inside. Instead of writing your message on the display panel, this design opens like a traditional card, so your personal message stays private while the card can still be displayed.

You'll also see in my video that I changed my design as I went along. Sometimes the best ideas happen while you're creating!
