A big THANK YOU to Waverley School for allowing us to run alongside you again and thank you Waverley Golf Club, what a great location to hold the event! ☀️

Book Character Day 2026 at Waitotara School.
Fabulous effort. Everyone looked amazing!
Parade of Book Characters judged by Mrs Bullock. Then a day of activities with teachers celebrating books....story maps from Red Riding Hood, The Lorax masks, Paper Bag Princess puppets and bookmarks. We finished up the day with a Where's Wally Scavenger Hunt. 📚📖 💗😊

A big shout out to our Give It Back Fulton Hogan Community Workers James and Ben who came to Waitotara School today to give our school grounds some love. They cleared gardens, trimmed up trees, water blasted and spread some mulch around gardens.

Celebrating Puanga ✨️. Waitotara School attended a day out in Whanganui to celebrate Puanga. We watched schools Kapa Haka performances and then split into Junior and Senior groups to participate in different activities. Making mandalas with Piwaiwaka Farms, waiata, poi and rakau at the library which was surely a highlight along with reconstructing the double hulled waka that is currently on display at the Museum from the National Museum in Auckland. A great day of learning and immersion.
