🎶 10 little Ducks went out one day 🎶

Today we watched a mother duck and her 10 ducklings waddle past playcentre into Waitara East School.

This morning we went to Gymnastics Waitara for a private Kindy Gym session.

Today was a Nurtured at Home Discovery day.
Once a term we do a Nurtured at home discovery day.

Thank you NAH for providing us with these fun days.

The kids all loved the variety and ability to spread out and choose where and how they played.
Including the educators we were allowed to join in with the kids and do it with them.

I ran on the air track forgetting I can't.
Jumped on the trampoline and hid in the parachute fort.

The kids loved the foam pit.
And Mr 4 said his favourite piece of equipment and thing to do was the parallel bars. Jumping onto the lower bar and swinging. Giving instructions to miss 4 about how she puts her hands out and jump.

I haven't been to Waitara Kindy Gym, since i had the Jury Whānau. But perhaps I Need to put it in rotation for every now and then as the kids loved it.
It's a neat asset to Waitara.

I'm currently receiving childcare enquiries once a week.

And I can't help anyone as I'm full. With no spaces available til maybe next June when one turns 5.

So this is a shout out to Waitara, Bell Block homebased educators.

If you have current spaces available post your comment here. And post the age you have a space for and where you are :-)

It's ok if you are not from my company Nurtured at home.
You just need to be Waitara and close surrounding areas no further than Bell Block. And must only do homebased childcare or a Nanny that will service Waitara, Bell Block.

We've been gifted a stack of books thanks Amy Olsen 🥰

I don't have any of them already, I've got some of the kapai books but not the same titles.

The kids really enjoyed the little yellow digger at the Zoo.
Mr 4 said let's read the " bulldozer pushes the Hippos book".

I've been meaning to purchase Tamanui. I went to buy it at Easter but it was out of stock at Puke Ariki.
My whānau were part of the Kōkako project and are on the Tiaki Te Mauri o Parininihi trust

So thanks so much, we love them! ❤️

We were gifted these magnatiles months ago. And they are now a consistent go to for play.

The kids never use them the same way over and over.
And it surprises me what they are able to make, and the language it creates during play.

The kids start talking about shapes, techniques, structures, heights.
Buildings, colours.

Thanks Kate we still love them
