The business symposium held at Kahungunu Marae in Nuhaka last Friday. Inspirational korero shared by those who have been there, done that and still going! It was an amazing opportunity to network, learn and see what's on offer, services, products and skill sets. Seeny and the team at the Wairoa Business Hub have once again provided an uplifting, informative event and where better than on our Marae.
This is my second symposium, and both thus far have been very beneficial to my growth and development as an entrepreneur 😘🫶 I even got to sit with my first small business management course tutor - Huhana Mete!! It was on this course, well over 20 years ago, that "Horizon Healings" was birthed! Three days prior to handing in our 'business plan', I had a dream..changed my whole plan and completed it in 3 days! I remember reading Huhana's comment saying "You were truly guided with this". I held that and over the years, I have adjusted, learnt new things, practised, evolved and even started from scratch a couple of times. These symposiums are great for reassurance, inspiration and feeding the creative fire within! 💯🔥
So, thank you to all the speakers, fellow stallholders showcasing their services and products, my sister Shell for lending me her truck, and again to Seeny and the team. ✨️🪷💓
