Hot Shots Tennis will be run in Term 4 this year and in Term 1 2027, on Wednesday afternoons
3.30-4.30pm, starting in Week 2, Wednesday 21st October 2026. Registrations close on Friday
18th September 2026. The sessions will run for approximately 6 weeks. You will receive an email
the week prior to the starting date.
Hot Shots Tennis is a fun, skills-based tennis programme for Primary School children aged from
5-7 yrs old. It is a fantastic way to introduce children to tennis.
To be able to run this program and keep the groups small we do require parent help. Tennis
skills are not required. Please phone Jane – 027 3600834 if you are interested in helping or by
completing the registration form.
Due to the number of children that participated in hotshots last season we are asking you to
pre-register your child / children as soon as possible. Please be aware that this year there will
be limited spaces so first in first served, and we will create a waiting list if numbers are
exceeded.
For those children who are older (8-13 years old) private coaching may be available at the
same time. If you are interested in this, please contact Fiona Tyler – 027 226 2301 for more
information.
What is the cost of joining Hot Shots?
● To participate in Hot Shots, your child will become a Junior Member of the Waipukurau
Tennis & Squash Club.
● The fee is: $40.00 per child.
Existing Waipukurau Tennis & Squash Club Members
● You will need to complete a Hot Shots Online Registration form CLICK HERE
● Your child will be sent an email via pay2play to pay for another years membership
covering Term 4 - Term 1 hotshots and other club events. Please pay this on receiving to
keep membership current.
New Members to the Waipukurau Tennis & Squash Club
Please note there are two separate enrolments:
● A Hot Shots Online Registration form CLICK HERE and
● Club Membership - new members need to request to become a member of the Club.
Do this by going to the pay2play website www.pay2play.co.nz
● Click "Book now".
● Scroll down to the bottom to find our club and click "join".
● Fill in the form and click "send request" to request membership to the Club. An email
request will be sent to us automatically.
● After that you'll get 2 emails; one from us, and one from pay2play asking for your
payment.

Our school production is coming up at the end of this term, and we are so excited to share it with you all!
