Spring has sprung, and our five year olds had a very special visitor today. Matt and his gorgeous little lamb, Chocolate, came in for a visit.

There was plenty of excitement, cuddles and curiosity, including some very thoughtful questions about why lambs wee from their tummies?!

What a perfect teaching moment about boy parts and girl parts.

Exciting news!

The Wellington Phoenix Football Team are heading to Rongomaraeroa Ngā Hau e Whā this afternoon!

Whaea Tarn has already filled the van with ākonga who will be heading down to tautoko (support) Matua Corey and take part in the pōwhiri for the manuhiri.

Matua Corey has asked the school to let you know that whānau are very welcome to come down with your tamariki too.

We’re heading down at 2.30pm for a 3pm pōwhiri. If your child is coming with you, please collect them from their class. There is no Emily in the office today as she is at Snow School.

If you’re coming down after school, just roll in and come find us in the whare.

He rawe tēnei! We can’t wait!

Some of our junior ākonga planted some veges in our garden with Mrs Clarke. Unfortunately, our naughty chickens got out and helped themselves to everything growing above the ground!

Luckily, they couldn’t reach the carrots, so today we enjoyed the fruits of our labour… or should that be vegetables? Crunching and munching our way through our very own carrots!
