Revelation NZ Alpaca Stud have invested in quality genetics from some of the top studs in New Zealand - quietly working to build a diverse genetic base, and develop the key traits we want to see in our progeny. Our goal is to breed beautifully dense, structured fleeces, with a lush handle, on strong well balanced frames. Whilst our passion is for breeding smokey greys and roans, our biggest priori

ty is breeding quality alpacas who hold their fleece quality through their adult years. We like to get our animals in front of a variety of judges - which helps us ensure we are on track with our goals. We believe that showing is a fantastic opportunity to compare our alpacas to others, learn from other breeders and build our knowledge. With long terms goals to develop a farm shop and art gallery - we are currently focus on developing a strong breeding programme and learning as much as they can about producing high quality alpacas.

Revelation NZ Alpaca Stud

WITH THE MOVE TO LEVEL 2 REVELATION NZ ALPACA STUD CAN ONCE AGAIN OPEN FOR FARM TOURS - there will be some restrictions with group size, and social distancing will need to be maintained. Access will be strictly by bookings only.

In 2017 we realised a dream when they purchased Manuka Cottage Farm - a picturesque cottage nestled on a small farm on the outskirts of Waimate.

Now home to Revelation NZ Alpaca Stud, Manuka Cottage Farm is starting to take shape. With long terms goals to develop a farm shop and art gallery - we are currently focus on developing a strong breeding programme and learning as much as they can about producing high quality alpacas.

Farm tours are available by appointment on Saturdays, Sunday, Mondays and Tuesdays - email us to find out more. Our visitors love to spend an hour or more walking amongst the alpacas, being able to feed them from a bucket and get up close with them - the young ones are always a favourite. We also spend time teaching our clients about alpacas - what is involved in caring for them and all about fleeces. We love to share these wonderful creatures with our visitors.
