Congratulations to all of our students who participated in this year's speeches and poems! Every single student took part, and we are so proud of each and every one of them. The standard was extremely high, which made it tough to select our semifinalists and finalists.

A huge thank you to our wonderful judges, including the students from Waihi College who assisted—we truly appreciate your help!

On Friday, our Kauri and Hohepa students came together for a fun collaborative learning session. The students took the lead as teachers, sharing their favourite 6 Bricks activities. It was wonderful watching them communicate, mentor, and learn from their peers. To wrap up the session, they finished with an energetic game of 6 Bricks Dominoes!

An awesome shout-out to Ninja Valley, which offered a free trip for schools and classrooms that raised their Term 1 attendance by 10% compared to 2025!

As a school, we achieved more than a 10% increase, and Kauri Class won the big trip for having the highest attendance overall in Term 1!

The students absolutely loved the trip, and the parents did too. A huge thank you to our parent helpers for providing transport and helping make the day so special!

At our Hui today, Hohepa class gave an awesome presentation on how hands and fingers work! They shared what they learned about the bones and tendons that allow our fingers to move.
