PPID, or Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction, is a common endocrine disorder in older horses. Early signs include decreased athletic performance, loss of topline, cresty neck, unexplained tendon injuries, fall laminitis, and increased drinking and urination. Regular veterinary check-ups, proper management, and balanced nutrition are crucial.

I am celebrating! Yay. Celebrating with Arepa dumplings and eqqveggie soup so that I didn’t have to cook the veggies. Celebrating getting up not only the e-book, but the paperback, and a hardcover version of Book One of the Equine Vet Today series…Modern Equine Dentistry for Horse Owners!! Launch is on the 15th, and there will be online events! I have to figure out times that will work around the world, but stay posted and I will announce events!

Oh man!
I finally get my book sent off to my proofreader, ready to start promo, and the incredibly late nights sitting up using a flat track pad took their toll. I have destroyed my shoulder. And I went and saw a great girl that does bodywork for me and it’s about 90% better but I still can’t use it. So sorry, people who I’ve said I will come and do your horse and your extractions and things it’s going to have to wait a wee while until it’s better. So sorry.
However, I will give you this.
