The countdown is on until dance classes start back up again!

Monday 15th June is the day, and I can't wait!

I've been away on teaching placement as part of my Bachelor of Primary Teaching studies. It's been an amazing experience with lots of learning and growth.

But I have definitely been missing dance and all of the wonderful children!

I'm looking forward to getting back into the hall, moving, creating, and sharing the joy of dance together again.

We are after an Acro Dance Teacher!

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, reliable, and inspiring Acro (dance/gymnastics style) teacher to join our dance community!
📍 Location: Waiau
🗓 When: Monday afternoons
👯 Students: School-aged dancers (varied abilities)
About the Role:
You’ll be leading fun, engaging Acro classes that blend dance and gymnastics, helping students build strength, flexibility, confidence, and performance skills. We’re after someone who can create a positive, supportive environment while delivering high-quality instruction.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience: in Acro, gymnastics, or dance
Is confident working with children and young people
- Brings great energy and a positive attitude
Can plan and deliver structured, safe lessons
- Is reliable and a strong communicator
- A passion for building confidence in young dancers
What we offer:

✨ Holiday mode is nearly over… and Term 1 is just around the corner! ✨

If you’ve been thinking about getting your child involved in dance classes here in Waiau, now is the perfect time to get in touch.

Term 1 starts on Friday 16 February, and we’d love to welcome both new and returning dancers. Classes focus on fun, confidence, creativity, and building skills in a supportive environment.
