Hey, Iâm Zowie đ
Proud mumma to two incredible boys who teach me every single day about patience, curiosity, resilience, and unconditional love. Motherhood has profoundly shaped who I am, how I see the world, and how I show up for others. It has deepened my empathy, strengthened my values, and reinforced my belief in the power of relationships, care, and genuine connection. Both at home and in the classroom.
My life journey hasnât been the nicest road. Itâs been filled with lessons, challenges, growth, and pivotal moments that have all contributed to the person and educator I am today. Through every twist and turn, one thing has always remained constant: from a very young age, I knew I was meant to be a teacher.
The path to becoming one wasnât always straightforward. It took time, perseverance, self-belief, and more than a few rollercoaster moments. After ten years of determination, learning, and resilience, that childhood dream became my reality. Today, teaching is more than just my profession, it is my purpose. I treasure the âaweâ moments, the joy of being authentically me, and the magic that happens when children and teachers learn alongside one another.
As I step into a new year and my 15th year in education, I feel incredibly grateful to continue learning and growing alongside our tamariki, todayâs learners and tomorrowâs future. I am deeply passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, valued, curious, and confident to become exactly who they are meant to be.
This page reflects my journey, professional knowledge, lived experiences, and the digital templates and resources Iâve developed to support fellow kaiako, particularly with planning and organisation. It is also a point of connection where I offer my quality babysitting services. This space is for families who value trust, care, and experience, and who may be looking for a reliable, nurturing helping hand when they need it most.
Thank you for being here â Iâm so glad our paths have crossed đ€
