Earn while you learn and get real-world experience in one of NZ’s busiest hospitals✨

The Counties Manukau Pacific Cadetship is your chance to:
▪ Work part-time over summer at Middlemore Hospital and across Counties Manukau
▪ Explore a variety of health careers to find your fit
▪ Strengthen your CV and university applications
▪ Gain a completion certificate to recognise your skills and experience

Who can apply?
▪ Year 13 students in Pacific Health Science Academy schools
▪ Of indigenous Pacific heritage
▪ Intending to study a health-related qualification in NZ
▪ Living in South Auckland
▪ Available to complete the Cadetship programme from end of Nov-Dec 2025 and/or Jan-Feb 2026 (Dates shared soon)

Presenting the Counties Manukau - Pacific Cadetship 2024-2025 🌺
Applications are OPEN! 🙌

This is an awesome opportunity to get paid over the summer break and work at Middlemore Hospital and other community-based services.

What is it?
This is a 4-week programme, funded by Middlemore Foundation and Hynds Foundation, that will provide Year 13 students with paid employment and the opportunity to learn about the different health careers and services across Health New Zealand - Counties Manukau.

How can I apply?
To apply, follow the link in bio to complete the Expression of Interest form and submit a 1-page CV. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed and if successful, will be notified before the start of the NCEA external exams.

Important:
You must be available to complete the Cadetship between the dates listed.
