E rua ngaa wiki e toe ana! ⏳
We're just two weeks out from Aka Raupapa, our National Freight & Supply Chain Superhui.
Rahui Papa shares the whakapapa behind the name.
Tainui Group Holdings
The commercial arm of Waikato-Tainui. Here to grow the economic wealth of our iwi for this generation and the next.
A reminder from Ngaro Tumai (Horahora Marae): Some things you have to go and see for yourself.
Always a privilege sharing the mahi we’re doing at TGH with our iwi. 🌿
Our first step into the energy space as we continue to diversify our asset base.
A proud milestone for us all. 🔌
TGH’s Chief Investment Officer, John Bartley was at the ‘switching on’ today.

HE KARERE 📢
A proud milestone for Ruakura Superhub today, as Ruakura Energy’s electricity network is now fully live. 🙌🏽
We believe this is the first iwi-owned commercial electricity network of this scale.
Four years ago, this was a bold decision: to build and own critical infrastructure ourselves, from the national grid right through to the customer.
Today, that network was turned on for the first time, powering the Ruakura Inland Port as the precinct’s first customer.
It’s a step towards greater energy autonomy, stronger resilience, and backing intergenerational growth with the infrastructure to match.
E mihi ana ki ngaa ringaringa me ngaa waewae o teenei kaupapa. ✨

Hari huritau ki a Novotel Auckland Airport 🥳
On this day 15 years ago, the hotel was officially opened with karakia in the presence of our late Kiingi Tuheitia Pootatau Te Wherowhero VII and then Prime Minister John Key.
An awesome milestone celebrated alongside Accor Group and Auckland Airport 🤝🏽
Even more special - pictured are 5 original kaimahi who are still part of the whaanau 15 years on. ❤️
Miiharo rawa atu!

Kaatahi te rangi aataahua ko teeraa! 🌞
Another awesome TGH Asset & Whenua Tour this week. A chance to show our iwi members around our assets and share some of what we’ve been working on.
One of the highlights was stopping in at 2–4 Te Ipukura at Ruakura Superhub to see and hear about the progress on the new spec build. Always a pleasure to answer paatai and get feedback from our iwi.
We wrapped up the day the best way we know how - with a kai tahi at the Ruakura office. 👍🏽

Noho marae are part of growing the cultural knowledge of our kaimahi and connecting to the deeper purpose of the mahi we do.
This year our noho went to Te Rohe Pootae, the King Country, where we overnighted at Taarewaanga Marae.
On the way, we stopped at Rangiaowhia and Ooraakau, where we paid our respects to those tuupuna who lost their lives there. Moments like these remind us why the mahi matters, and who we carry it for.
Our visit to Te Awamutu Museum to see Uenuku and hear the story of his discovery was a special highlight.
E rere ana ngaa mihi ki te hau kaainga o Taarewaanga Marae, otiraa ki te hapuu o Ngaati Hinewai, naa raatou i manaaki i a maatou.
