POOR KNIGHTS!

Hands down the best diving in New Zealand. 20m+ Vis, gorgeous blue water, marine life beyond belief. I came here first in 2019, then again in late 2022, and now as a diver. Such an incredible experience being in the world with all the life beneath the islands. even the life against the sea walls! - Algaes, sponges, nudibranchs, tunicates, etc. Apart from the temp (😅) this diving almost took me back to my diving in Fiji.

Huge schools of Blue Mao Mao, Kingfish, Trevally and so many more.

I got to catch up with my instructor from earlier this year, who has since moved on to work at the Poor Knights Islands. She gave great words of wisdom and what the next steps are after I finish up in Auckland.

Thank you Dive Tutukaka for a fantastic two days 😍 I will be back (hopefully employed 🤞)

In Honor of shark week - here's my crazy shark dive in Pacific Harbor, Fiji. I remember this day so vividly, the most unbelievable, surreal feeling. Just after we had entered the water, my friend told me to look down... and just sharks... everywhere! Once we descended and the Pros had set up the tuna head bait, that's when the real sharks showed up

Schools of about 40 bull sharks just feeding right in front of me, oh my god. I think I was a bit narc'd from the depth which is why I enjoyed it so much and didn't sh*t myself

I'm so excited to get back into waters like this. Crazy to think I remember at the site the instructor told us that a group of guys were all doing divemaster training with us that day... crazy to think I'm in that position now! Not much more to go

Happy Shark week everyone! These guys are never and will never be the villains Jaws turned them into. Next shark on my list... Whale Shark!
