DAFFODIL DAY

Today our centre was transformed into a beautiful sea of yellow as we came together to support Daffodil Day!

The children had so much fun embracing the yellow theme with lots of special activities, including:
Daffodil painting
Yellow playdough
Yellow-themed water play
Chalk drawing
And plenty of yellow fun!

It was wonderful to see our tamariki getting involved, being creative and learning about the importance of helping others and supporting our community.

Today we enjoyed a wonderful adventure to our local library! The children loved exploring the shelves, discovering new books, and sharing stories together.

A big thank you to the wonderful ladies for taking the time to read some fantastic stories to our tamariki. We truly appreciate the warm welcome and look forward to visiting again!

July has been another month full of fun, learning, and making special memories at Fun Place Kindergarten!

During the two-week school holidays, our tamariki enjoyed a fantastic line-up of activities, including a PJ and movie day, a teddy bear picnic, a community walk, decorating cupcakes, showing off their creativity with crazy hats, and dancing the day away at our disco. There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of opportunities for children to build friendships and create lasting memories together.

One of the highlights of the month was celebrating Matariki with our Fun Place whānau. We came together to enjoy a special performance by our tamariki before sharing a delicious kai. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the Māori New Year, reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future as a community.
