The new term is about to begin! 🌟
Here's a glimpse into our Easter activities.
This term, we're shaking things up by sparking imagination and creativity with our innovative themed weeks. The classics of paint, playdough, and sandpit, will include new focuses as well as we'll be introducing fresh activities to nurture growth and exploration. This week, we're focused on settling in and getting comfortable again, and we can't wait to see what's in store for us next! Join us Mondays 9-12:30 and Tuesdays 9-12 to learn and thrive with your little ones.

Unlocking potential, one playtime at a time! 🎉 At Playcentre, we empower little minds and bodies with activities like bubble chasing, oobleck and playdough! These amazing activities we do, help us practice our gross and fine motor skills, the foundations for holding a pencil and sitting still at school.
We are back tomorrow for another fun day 9am-12pm, before we take a short break for the school holidays. We can't wait to see you back on Monday, 20th of April, ready to shine! 💫

We have been busy getting ready for winter at home and are practicing getting firewood for Playcentre!
If you're little one wants to come and explore our amazing resources and make some new friends as well as extend the fun stuff they are doing at home, come in for a visit!
We're at Playcentre every Monday, 9am-12.30pm and Tuesday 9am-12pm during term time and would love to see you 🙂

This week, we unleashed a world of creativity with shaving foam!
On Monday, our curious tamariki mixed and matched colours with popsicle sticks, crafting unique cloud formations.
Tuesday, they transformed into innovative engineers, designing a carwash system that sparked a fascination with cause-and-effect. We explored this with paper on our slide to record the trucks tracks to be studied later.
By embracing the unknown, we discovered new ways to learn and grow.

Messy Play is here! 🖌💦🎨
Today we had playdough, finger paint and squirty bottles of multicoloured fun. We mixed paint colours in our seashells to see what we would get (Turns out there is a lot of ways to make brown) 🎨
Water was put into the sandpit to create obstacles for the big trucks to navigate. 💦🚛
Join us tomorrow 9:00-12:00 for a transformative play experience where imagination knows no bounds.

Construction work was happening in our play today. With the blocks and in the sandpit 🏗🔨
We are open until 12:30 today if you are in the area and needing something to entertain the kids today.

If you haven't visited before, you should come and check out the playground, bike track, nature area, sandpit and gardens at Turua Playcentre. 🚲🌳🌸

Don't forget we are having a Water Day tomorrow on session. Grab a change of clothes and get ready to splash, pour, tip and measure your way through the morning! 💦⛲🌊

Welcome to another lovely week! Session today has been slow and lazy. Sandpit fun and a few circuits on the bikes before inside to enjoy the air con and a few fresh tomatoes picked straight from our deck.
We are open Monday and Tuesdays during the term and would love to see you!
