✨IMPORTANT NOTICE ✨
Dear TNS whānau,
As you may be aware, NZEI and PPTA will be taking strike actions this Thursday, 23rd October.
As we will not have sufficient staff on site to provide supervision to student, school will be closed that day.

✨FUNDRAISER FOR MR DEAN ✨
Socks and Jandals (Crocs) & Iced Chocolate Day – Wednesday 15th October.

On Wednesday, 15th October, we will be holding a Socks and Jandals (Crocs) Day to support Jayleb Dean's whānau.

Here's how you can take part:
What to wear:
Wear your brightest socks with jandals, sandals, or crocs – the brighter, the better for a gold coin donation paid on the day.

What to bring:
Please bring a gold coin donation (CASH ONLY) if you’d like to dress up and take part.

Iced Chocolates – $3.00 each (Presale only):
These will be sold in advance on Monday and Tuesday, so if your child would like one, please send them to school with $3.00 CASH to place their order. We will not be taking orders on Wednesday.

Please note: Kindo and EFTPOS will not be available for this event.

All proceeds from both the Jandal Day and Iced Chocolate sales will go directly to support the Dean whānau during this very difficult time.

Let’s raid our piggy banks, show off our brightest socks and jandals, and come together as a kura to awhi this wonderful whānau.

Health Notice

We would like to make families aware that scabies has been identified both within our school and in the wider community. To date, we have had four confirmed cases in our school.

Please take a moment to read the attached poster for important information on:

How to recognise the signs and symptoms of scabies

Steps to prevent its spread

Guidance on treatment

If you suspect that your child may be affected, we kindly ask that you seek medical advice promptly and follow the recommended treatment before returning to school.
