Mālō lava to our Te Rauawa tamariki who received studebt of the week certificates last week. Our assembly was lead by Tama ans Quinn from Taumanu.

They also shared their scribble art - this art still continues to go strong and was personally one of Miss Sheck's favourites during primary as the ideas were endless!!

Our assembly, taken by Taumanu, was led by Liliana and Beauden. In our ohu, we are helping to grow communicators through hosting and presenting in Assemblies.

Shout out to our student of the week tamariki!

This is our last ohu assembly for the term.

We shall see you back for Te Rauawa celebrations on the first Friday of Term 2!

Our class led our first ohu assembly. Our MC's were Hunter and Benji! Leading with great confidence!!

Congratulations to our tamariki who received certificates this week! Paewai will have double certificates next week!

Weekly assemblies happen on a Friday afternoon at 1:30pm. Door is always open for our whānau.

Next week, Paewai will be leading our assembly.

Kia ora e te whānau,

Week 1 done and dusted for our 2025 year.
Such a great start to our year!!
- Welcoming our new kaiako, tamariki and whānau.
- Setting our classroom routines and expectations.
- Understanding about our learning journey through ping pong challenges. Everyone can be given the same task though how they achieve it can be different. It may take a little longer, they may need help from their friends or kaiako, they may need time away or just keep on trying. The options really are endless, but our main purpose for school is to learn.
- School-wide PB4L assemblies are back and our focus for the week was respect. Ask your tamariki what respect means.
- Learning how to work together through a survival task.
- setting up a video to invite you to our whānau picnic.
