Our first Commonwealth Games Rotations were a great success. The tamariki explored Dance, Art and Food from different cultures. As usual they embraced the learning, displayed the school values and had lots of fun 😊

What a wonderful assembly for a wonderful start to the Term. It was so great to see so many of you there 😊

We celebrated lots of our tamariki, they really are the best. Lots of certificates, DoJo rewards, attendance rewards and we crowned our most recent Kura Kid. Well done to you all.

We also took a moment to thank Mr Thornley for all of his hard work and dedication to our special Kura. From the small stuff such as doing a staff member's duty so they can have a break. The fun stuff such as showing off his hula hoop skills at lunch. To the big stuff, navigating is through some ever changing tricky curriculum waters. We appreciate him.

Have a fabulous weekend Whanau πŸ’š

Sorry the date on the Sausage Sizzle notice today was wrong. The first Sausage Sizzle for Term 3 is next Friday 31st July.

Sorry for the confusion.

A beautiful sunny day to start our Cross Country Training. Our tamariki are always so eager to get started and get stuck in!

The focus at school this Term is the Commonwealth Games. Te Raakau impressing on the courts. They supported each other, encouraged each other and did it with big smiles on their faces 😁

Kia ora Whānau,

We are sending out this Google Form to make it easier to return if you would like to go on the roster for Term 3.

https://forms.gle/eGDMTcHWKrEw8MX4A

The supplies will all be ready for you. We just need your time to cook and clean up. Sausages are served at 1st lunchtime, 11:30 am, so you are required to be at school by 11:00 am. They are precooked sausages so don't take as long to cook.

If you are unable to provide assistance on the day that you have been assigned it would be very much appreciated if you could contact another parent/caregiver to take your place and let the school know your replacement.

Please kindly fill in the details on the form with the link provided.
Thank you....as always we appreciate your support :)

Good evening Whanau, we hope the tamariki are feeling rested and pumped for Term 3! We are really looking forward to seeing their smiling faces.

There is so much happening this Term that we just know the kids are going to thoroughly enjoy 😁

For starters we have Cross Country training, we will be running after lunch most afternoons so children are invited to bring sneakers to school. The weather can be quite unpredictable Term 3 so a spare pair of clothes can also be a good idea, just in case.

Mrs Shannon will be sharing some information regarding Tough Guy Tough girl so keep your eyes peeled for that.

See you all tomorrow, bright eyed and bushy tailed!
