Kids Rock Early Learning Centre Childcare & Education At Kids Rock ELC, we pride ourselves on providing quality care and education for our tamariki. Nga mihi

We are a centre enriched with a bicultural practice delivered by a unique diverse teaching team. We deliver care and education for tamariki ranging from the ages 0 - 6, we have two rooms known as the Kowhai room and the Pohutukawa room, although they are two separate room we advocate for tuakana/teina relationships where rooms are occasionally combined to give our older tamariki opportunities to d

evelop awareness of our younger pepi and create a genuine whanau-like vibe at Kids Rock. Along with the two spacious rooms we also offer a large outdoor area with endless opportunities for our tamariki to play, explore and experiment. An online system is also utilised which provides our whanau open dialogue to the happenings in our centre, including, live notifications of nappy changes, sleeping routines, sun block application, incidents and many more. We have an online platform for the learning of your tamaiti also, with an app that can easily allow access for updates on the learning and development as well as keep you up to date with upcoming events. He Kōrero Mihi – A Story of Thanks
Ngā mihi nunui ki a koutou katoa – a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful whānau for your contributions to our KidsRock Matariki celebration.

Your generous offerings of kai, treasured family photos, and heartfelt memories shared on our Remembrance Wall made this event truly special. Your presence and participation helped us honour Matariki in a way that connected us deeply as a learning community.

The day was filled with joy, laughter, and learning. Our tamariki shone brightly just like the stars of Matariki as they proudly shared their waiata, stories, and beautiful art activities. It was a true reflection of the rich learning happening every day, grounded in the values of Mauri, Whanaungatanga, and Ako.

We hope you enjoyed the celebration as much as we did. Thank you for being an important part of our whānau here at KidsRock.
