It was a beautiful afternoon for our annual Marist Cup with St. Joseph's last Friday. Lots of excitement and great sportsmanship on show. The rugby was taken out by Sacred Heart and the netball by St. Joseph's. The Marist Cup went to St. Joseph's. Many thanks to all who helped with the coaching and organisation of this event.

This afternoon Rooms 11, 12, 13, 1 and 2 were lucky enough to meet the NZ author James Russell. He came to the Parish Centre to share the story of how he became an author and to explain the inspiration behind his novels. I'm sure that many of our children were inspired by James - perhaps we've got some future authors at Sacred Heart 😊
