Congratulations Eunseong, we are very proud of you!

Introducing our wonderful soloist, Eunseong Kim.

Eunseong Kim is a 20 year old South Korean-born trombonist. He has gained recognition as an emerging young soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer, captivating audiences in the Canterbury region.
He is in his second year of the Bachelor of Music program at the University of Canterbury, Eunseong receives guidance from esteemed instructors. He has been taught by Margaret van Ginkel and Jang Young-won and is currently studying under the mentorship of Ben Zilber at the University of Canterbury. Join Eunseong Kim as he takes the stage performing F.David Trombone Concertino with Canterbury Philharmonia Orchestra.

Talofa!👋🏽 Manuia te vaiaso o te Gana Tuvalu! Tuvalu language week, begins this Sunday 1 October! The theme is 'Fakatumau kae fakaakoi tau ‘gana ke mautu a iloga o ‘ta tuā', which means 'Preserve and embrace your language to safeguard our heritage identities'.

Nǐ hǎo! It’s New Zealand Chinese Language Week!

This is a great chance to celebrate the learning of Chinese languages in Aotearoa, and to give a phrase a go, or try a greeting yourself. While the term “Chinese language” is used here in reference to Mandarin, there are, in fact, many native Chinese languages with distinct dialects. In Aotearoa New Zealand, Chinese New Zealanders may speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Hakka or Shanghainese, among others.
