Our Forest Holiday Programme is running from 5 to 9 October, and we would love to have your tamariki join us! Each day brings something different, with new places to discover, challenges to conquer, creations to dream up and plenty of opportunities to follow their curiosity in the great outdoors.

There’s nothing like fresh, warm fry bread to fill our puku on a chilly day 💛 Thank you to our ātaahua whānau, Sam and Shavay, who came and worked alongside us! Allowing our tamariki to lead these processes supports their mana motuhake (independence), māia (confidence) and mana whenua (sense of belonging). Through preparing kai, tamariki learn that their ideas and contributions are valued while developing practical skills, working alongside others and caring for the wellbeing of our ngahere whānau. Plus, doesn’t Kai always taste better when you’ve made it yourself?! 🍞🩷

We’ve sent a group of schoolies off to Kura, and now we have two spots available for new Little Forest Explorers!

If your precious one is 2.5 years or older and you’d like them to spend their days in our magical natural setting, exploring our ngahere and the stunning Waitakaruru Stream, enjoying quiet time in the Fairy Grotto, building confidence in The Grove, cooking over the fire, and forming warm, connected relationships with other like-minded tamariki, then we’d love to hear from you.

Our Winter Holiday Programme is coming up fast!

We would love to have your tamaiti join us for days full of muddy play, creativity, exploring, cooking over the ahi, animal aroha, fresh air, friendship and winter magic in the ngahere.

We have spaces available during the week of 13th to 17th July, and tamariki are welcome to book in for whichever days suit your whānau.

We've loved the sunny warm Autumn weather! Our Kura kids have been exploring the ngahere and the gorgeous Waitakaruru Stream that runs through our farm. So much to investigate. Bring on Winter, we're ready for some MUD!!!

What a special holiday programme these past holidays have been. Even with the extra rainy and windy weather, our tamariki embraced every moment, making memories in te taiao and sharing so much aroha, connection, and joy.
There is always something magical about watching tamariki thrive outdoors, no matter the weather. Thank you to all the whānau who joined us for another unforgettable week!

🌿 School Holiday Programme! 🌿

Looking for something a little different these holidays? Come and join us for an unforgettable week out in Papatūānuku (Earth Mother)....

Our holiday programme is all about getting tamariki out of the house and into the ngahere, exploring, creating, and getting properly stuck in. From building and crafting with natural materials, to splashing in the awa, caring for our kararehe, and heading off on little adventures through the forest, every day is full of fun, hands-on experiences.

You might find us weaving with harakeke, making nature art, cooking over the ahi, or working together on big projects like huts, mud slides, or imaginative mahi. There is always something exciting happening, and plenty of space for tamariki to follow their interests, build friendships, and just enjoy being kids in nature.

This is a relaxed, fun-filled programme where tamariki can be active, creative, and a little bit muddy too.

We run this program in the second week of the holidays so these next ones will be April 13th–17th. Spaces are limited, so if this sounds like something your tamaiti would love, we would love to hear from you!
