Mad Cow Drums (NZ) LTD To instil a positive metaphor for life through the Kano® Learning Systems.

The Kano® Learning Systems is tactile, colour based approach to aid students with learning. Although initially designed for teaching the drums these systems have now been developed to create a more tactile approach to reading and spelling. The main idea being to endorse more senses, therefore more parts of the brain whilst learning to create a stronger connection and reception of the information being learned.

Hi everyone we will be back in school this term coming…and we want to get our future ROCKSTARS engaged and excited about learning music in Term 3!!!

For Term 3 we are offering the following instruments:
• DRUMS
• GUITAR
• UKULELE
• PIANO

In School....
Lessons are $11.75 + GST/week and are in groups of two for 20 minutes.

We are offering “one on one” lessons for 20 minutes as well. These are at a cost of $23.50 + GST/week.

Afterschool....
Afterschool lessons available for all ages. These are at our base in Te Awamutu and run Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Please note: Our charges are based on a student for the term not individual lessons. All lessons will be running-in conjunction with the school term.

We’re increasing funding for Rockquest Promotions to support programmes that give thousands of young New Zealanders the opportunity to showcase their creative talents, build confidence, and explore future opportunities.

Last year alone, 15,000 students participated across music, dance, drama, digital media and visual arts.

This builds on our wider investment in music, performance and the arts, helping ensure more young people can access the opportunities that keep them engaged in education and set them up for success.
