Kia ora whānau,

Our thoughts are with all those that have been affected by the weather over the weekend, it has been wild!

We have been into the centre this weekend and at this stage we are ready to open as normal tomorrow.

If there is anything that we can do to help you or your whānau please reach out and let us know.

*As for Little Explorers tomorrow... we will make a call in the morning, with the state of emergency non essential travel is not recommended so want to make sure we are adhering to advice and keeping us all safe

For those of you who celebrate Christmas, may it be a truly MERRY one — a time that gently tops up the fuel tank after a long year, refills the heart-bank with warmth, laughter, rest, and connection, and offers moments of stillness alongside celebration. May it be filled with meaningful conversations, shared meals, small joys, and the comfort of being surrounded (in person or in spirit) by those who matter most to you. May it restore your energy, lift your spirits, and remind you of what grounds and sustains you.
To ALL of you, regardless of what you celebrate or how you spend this season, we wish you PEACE — peace in your homes, peace in your hearts, and peace that extends beyond ourselves to be shared with all humankind. May kindness guide us, compassion connect us, and hope carry us forward into the days ahead.

I'm fundraising for Hato Hone St John. Every dollar raised goes towards supporting their work in the community. Every year, they answer the call to support thousands of New Zealanders in need. Will you answer my call for support?

Our tamariki have been busy making briquettes for your fireplace! Practicing sustainability we are using our shredded paper to create fire starters. If you would like some they are $2 for 6 briquettes with the funds going back into our garden where our tamariki are growing plants for our kai and to take home for their own kai too

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support this year. We couldn’t build a centre around more perfect people! We hope that you and your tamariki get to have some rest and downtime over this holiday season, I know they have had a big year filled with learning and I’m sure you have too!
