Ballet beginners can join Fiordland Dance School from age 3.5-4years to learn ballet. There are already a range of ages up to a adults class. Anyone who might be interested in something a bit different there is Urban Jazz students can join at about 7years old. Our dance classes are held at the Yacht Club and if you would like to come along and see if you or your little one is keen to join us please just give Jess a call :)

Single Leg Raises: 20 pre-teen, 35 pre-pointe, 50 pre-professional.

Domes/Metatarsal Lifts: 20 pre-teen, 100 pre-professional.

Cross training! Core strength! Etc!

RNZB Child Extra Auditions are happening soon! πŸ©°πŸ§’

The Royal New Zealand Ballet is seeking applications for child extras to perform in The Ryman Healthcare Ltd Season of π‘ͺπ’Šπ’π’…π’†π’“π’†π’π’π’‚.

Applications from Dance teachers for their students are open from 23 May – 3 June!

We're looking for dance students from all over New Zealand who are minimum Grade 2 level and are of a height between 120cm and 135cm. Applicants must have good classical technique, be quick to learn, confident on stage and have lots of personality.

Auditions will take place late June-early July.
