On Tuesday a group of Year 11 and 12s were the first secondary school students in NZ to be introduced to the fantastic work of the Kea Conservation Trust by Rachel as she unveiled a new education pilot project throughout the South. The students learned how this incredibly intelligent parrot is facing some major pressures with only a few thousand remaining in the Southern Alps. Rachel then headed to Borland to meet our Year 7s before returning to work with the Year 8s. A huge thanks to her and Luxe tours who sponsored her travel. Clubs & Projects Term 3
We will be starting our new block of clubs and projects on Wednesdays, from 12th Aug (1:40 - 3:10pm) until 28th of October in Term 4. Last term we had - Magazine/Media, Adventure Racing, XGames, Crafts, Engineering Go Karts, Outdoors, T-Shirt Design, Money Money, Science Problem Solving, Golf, Kapa Haka and Independent projects.
We are always keen to build our relationships and work with our local community, so if you think that you might have something to offer, or assist with sharing your skills, knowledge or expertise, please get in touch.

Congratulations to the Fiordland College Year 9 & 10 Netball team, who recently returned from competing at the South Island Secondary Schools (SISS) Junior Netball Tournament in Christchurch

It was an action-packed four days with eight incredibly hard-fought games. The girls left it all on the court, coming away with two wins, alongside a wealth of invaluable experience and growth.

From navigating tough competition to hostel life, daily team awards, and being cheered on by an army of mascots, it was a week to remember.
