One of my favourite things about summer - no shoes β™₯️

πŸŒ±πŸ‘£ We need to get our bare feet onto the earth...for at least 20min a day.

There is growing scientific evidence showing the physical and mental health benefits of "earthing" or "grounding", on everyone from premature newborns to adults with chronic pain and inflammation.

We are, in essence, electrical beings, made up of atoms (which are made of electrons, protons, and neutrons). We literally have an internal electrical charge, which is influenced by the electric fields around us. And just like all electrical circuits, we need to be grounded EVERY DAY (and as much as possible) .

Even if we were to ignore the fact that most of us spend all day every day surrounded by wifi, devices and appliances, we also automatically reach for our shoes when we step outside! So we never give our bodies the opportunity to balance the electrical charge within us.

The research has shown the following health benefits of grounding/earthing:
