Would you like your child to grow in confidence, self awareness &
self love, in connection with nature one day a week?

Nature School 🌿 is my one-day-a-week, in-term programme for ages 6–12. A small group day of nature connection, where children explore, play, learn and grow, guided by nature and by their own curiosity. It's perfect for homeschoolers, and for kids who need a grounding pause from the busyness of school (release from school is available).

SPACES AVAILABLE 🌿 Tuesdays at Te Puna / Wednesdays Waihi Beach / Thursdays Mount Maunganui. 9 am to 3pm. For 9 weeks during the school term.

Spring Holiday Club bookings are open! 🌱

Our Nature Kids days give your child space to reset after a busy term: time to explore, create, and just be. Days are filled with intentional learning experiences and plenty of free, child-led nature play, shaped by the season and what’s happening in nature around us.

🌸 Mount - Hopukiore, Mt Drury Base
Mon, Tue & Wed - both weeks

🌸Waihi Beach - Pohutukawa Park Base. Thursdays - both weeks

🌸 9am to 3pm
🌸 Ages 6-12

$70 per child/day | Small groups | Afternoon snack and drink included

“I wish it could be every day.”

I hear this often at Nature School, and it makes me pause every time.

Because I know what they mean. And you probably do too.

So many children are navigating enormous amounts of stimulation. Big classrooms, constant noise, back to back activities, so many screens. Their nervous systems are working hard, all day, everyday.

And then they arrive at Nature School.

A small group. A quiet space. Birdsong instead of bells. Room to move, to wonder, to simply be.

And they can settle.

In a small group, they feel the difference immediately. They feel seen. Known. Safe enough to take up space without competing for it. Safe enough to be themselves without performing.

I see it every week. The deep breath and the big smile on arrival.

The freedom to move, to explore, to follow their curiosity wherever it leads. Creativity that surfaces naturally when there is space for it. Questions asked out loud, and answers found for themselves. Confidence built through real challenges and the pride of working through them.

And the return to noticing wonder, beauty and magick in nature and in themselves.

This is what small group nature based connection and learning offers. Not just a change of scenery, but a genuine reset for the nervous system and the spirit.

If you’ve been thinking about coming — this is your sign. 🌱

Last Sunday was very wet so our Imbolc Gather is on THIS Sunday.

When did you last make time just for you?

Not for your family. Not for your work. Not for anyone or anything on your list.

Just you. Two hours. With nature. In season. In community.

I have been looking forward to this gathering so much. There is something about Imbolc — that first gentle stirring — that feels like exactly the right moment to pause and connect. To tend the spark within us and begin dreaming into what wants to grow.

That is what Sunday morning holds.

Gentle nature connection practices. Seasonal wisdom. Quiet reflection and journalling. Closing with a warm nature brew in the herb garden at Te Puna.

You come as you are. No experience needed. Just a willingness to show up for yourself.
