We celebrated Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori at Liberty Montessori with pride and joy. 🌿

We are proud to create opportunities for our tamariki to connect with te reo Māori through songs, stories, conversations, and meaningful experiences throughout their time at Liberty Montessori.

Celebrating te reo Māori is about honouring the beautiful language and culture of Aotearoa, while supporting our tamariki to grow a sense of belonging, respect, and appreciation for the world around them.

Tiny hands creating big moments of discovery 🎨✨

Our toddlers explored painting with cotton buds, enjoying the experience of dipping, dotting, and watching their ideas come to life.

This simple activity supported their fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and concentration as they practised holding, pressing, and making marks.

Our friends loved exploring colours, experimenting with patterns, and discovering that even the smallest movements can create something beautiful. 🌈

A moment of focus, perseverance, and pride in our carpentry corner. 🔨✨

Our tamariki showed great determination as they carefully worked on hammering the nail into the wood. With patience and practice, they discovered the joy of mastering a new skill.

These hands-on experiences build confidence, coordination, problem-solving skills, and a belief that they can achieve great things when they keep trying

The excitement of finding a little snail in our garden. 🐌🌿

Our tamariki were fascinated as they gently observed their new garden friend and practised patience and kindness while waiting for him to come out of his shell.

This simple moment became a beautiful learning opportunity — encouraging curiosity, respect for living creatures, and understanding that nature moves at its own pace. 🌱

Our farm animals found themselves stuck in a puddle of cocoa “mud” today… but it seems our friends were far more interested in the messy fun than the rescue mission! 🤎✨

Sometimes the biggest learning moments come with messy hands and lots of smiles. 🌱😊
