Garry Watson came along and put his hand up to add $5000 to the kitty, unreal stuff Garry, that has made a huge difference to the total mate!

Across three stages, from ticket sales, koha on the door, and Sam and Garry's contribution we all managed to raise a grand total of $14,608 for the families affected by the slips back in January. We can't thank you all enough for stepping out and making this happen. It truly shows the kind of community we all live in.

GAUGING INTEREST:
Hi Team, we're looking at running a Demystifying Music Theory workshop with one of our awesome tutors Nick Clark.

Oftentimes theory can scare people away with all the fancy labels and symbols, so this will be a class aimed at helping the musician come to a more personal and intuitive understanding of music and how it works. We will discuss the benefits and the limitations of learning music theory and why/how it can help the musician further their music experience.

We will then explore the basic components of music (rhythm, harmony, melody) and create a foundation for how each musician can come to their own understanding of music theory. Come with any questions or discussion topics that we can explore together.
The aim will be to help each musician on their way to a better understanding of music.
