The philosophy behind The Science Scribe is to design quality resources that anyone can use. It's about bringing rich learning media to the home through the personal computer or mobile smartphone. It's about equipping students with the chance to see and hear topics for the first time or all over again. It's about giving parents a chance to sit down at home with their kids and help them take ownership of learning. The Science Scribe doesn't believe in replacing the classroom teacher or throwing out time-tested traditional teaching styles just because of what year we live in or what the latest fads in New Zealands' education politics are; it's about giving something extra - something more - so that Kiwi students have more choices and variety when it comes to revision and study without having to break their personal budget on private tutors or expensive black-and-white textbooks. All around New Zealand more students are discovering what The Science Scribe can do for them.
