That's a wrap for our netball teams. Saturday saw our 3 netball teams play there last games of the season.

It was fantastic to get to see some of the teams play, some superb wins, but the highlight was definitely the huge progression through the season and the smiles on everyone's faces.

That's what sport is all about at primary age it's a chance to play with your mates (or make new ones), work as a team, have fun and move your body developing skills as you go! We couldnt be prouder.

HUGE shout out to our coaches and managers who put in the mahi so the above can happen. We appreciate all you do!

Yesterday, our Year 6 students enjoyed a visit from Tauranga Intermediate School. Three student leaders shared information about the opportunities available, introduced their school houses and vision, and answered students' questions.

All Year 6 students should have brought home an information pamphlet with key dates and enrolment information. Please see the attached flyer for details about their upcoming Open Night.

It was also great to see former Welcome Bay School student and House Leader, Zac O., confidently representing T.I.S. as a student leader!

Morena e te whānau,

🚸 New 30km/h school zone now in place 🚸

We’re pleased to let our school community know that a 30km/h speed limit is now in place outside our school during drop-off and pick-up times.

This change will help keep our tamariki, whānau and staff safer at our busiest times of day. Slower speeds mean drivers have more time to react and reduce the risk of serious harm.

Please help us keep everyone safe by:
👉 Slowing down
👉 Watching for children
👉 Being patient around crossings

We appreciate your patience and understanding 🙏🏾

WB Kea year 5 Netball team had a fantastic day at the WBOP Year 5 Netball Tournament on Wednesday.

The sun was shining all day, and all the girls throughly enjoyed the opportunity to play more netball, having 5 games throughout the day.

The games were all pretty close, and we loved the opportunity to see them all develop their skills and to have so much fun doing it.

Thank you so much to Tertia F (Coach), Melissa O (Manager), Claire D (Scoresheet superstar!) and to Tauranga Netball Centre for putting on such a fantastic tournament including organising an umpire for WBS.

Finally a huge shout out to Ayla B for even after a long flight, coming down to the netball tournament to play with her team mates. Team spirit right there!
