The Treehouse Private Kindergarten and Nursery is a beautiful curated environment, created to nurture and nourish our learners, from one year to five. 👶🏼👧🏼👦🏼
We currently have spaces available and for our existing families we are offering a special incentive: introduce a new family (with a minimum attendance of 2 days) and when they start, receive one free day per week for six weeks!
How good is that!?

This morning we had a special Mother’s Day morning tea to celebrate and honour the wonderful mums at The Treehouse. 💐
The children were so excited to welcome their mums for a little play and a special mat time where Kathryn read a lovely story all about our hearts being connected by a string 🧶 . Afterwards we enjoyed tea, coffee, and Shortbread and jam heart shaped biscuits… yummo!
Each child proudly gifted their mum a handmade crafted heart and bookmark to say thank you for all the love and care they give every day.
Happy Mother’s Day to all our amazing Mums - we hope you have a wonderfully special weekend with your little ones 🤍💞

ANZAC DAY 2026
At The Treehouse, we are patriotic citizens. We honour this by proudly flying the New Zealand flag. 🇳🇿
We have talked about the New Zealand flag and its significance. The four stars are called the ‘southern cross’ and the blue represents the sea that surrounds New Zealand. We are very proud that our own New Zealand flag flies every day at The Treehouse to remind us of being New Zealand citizens. The flag was looking a little bit worn so Kathryn decided to put up another one for ANZAC day.
We did a special mat time where Kathryn brought in some very special medals: her grandfathers medals from the wars he bravely fought in! How special that the children were able to see such a vital part of our New Zealand history. 🎖️ 🏅
The children proudly sang the National Anthem in respect and remembrance for those who have gone before us 🌎♥️
Kathryn also brought in her special bear, one that looks just like the bear in the story ‘ANZAC Ted’. A very much loved bear 🐻
The children learned about the poppy, an international icon of hope and remembrance; and the children thoroughly enjoyed creating their own poppies. 🌺
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.”
