Our New Website Is Live!

After months of planning, building, testing, tweaking, rebuilding, and probably consuming far too much coffee ☕... we're excited to announce that the new TMAA website is now live!

We'd love your help putting it through its paces.

Take a look around, click some buttons, browse the classes, check out the memberships, and if you spot anything that doesn't work quite right, please let us know. We're still fine-tuning a few things and your feedback is appreciated.

This is much more than just a new website.

Over the coming months, it will become the central hub for everything TMAA, including:

🥋 Memberships & payments
📅 Event registrations
🎓 Grading registrations
📚 Student training resources
📢 Club news & updates
🏆 Real time student feedback

Our goal is to make it easier than ever for students and families to access everything they need in one place.

We're incredibly excited about where this is heading and would love you to be part of the journey.

Jump on, have a look around, and let us know what you think 👊

And our 2026 Youth Muay Thai Champion is... AMERIE!!

There was amazing effort put in by all the students on Saturday, aside from our champion, I'm proudest of those competing for the first time, who had to overcome the unknown, & anxiety, but did it any way.

It was great to see lot's of new faces up on the podium.

Well done team!!

Had another amazing youth Muay Thai comp on Saturday, and every podium image tells a unique story.

6 months ago none of these girls would have ever considered, testing themselves in combat, in fact 6 days ago, they were still very reluctant. But here they are broad smiles, all having just fought at least twice, with a shared kinship through battle.

The growth these girls have made over that one day, cannot be measured.

Well done girls we are incredibly proud of you.

Thank you to all the competitors for participating, thank you to all the families for supporting these young nak muay, thank you to everyone who helped judge, referee & martial. Thank you to our amazing team of parents who ran the sausage sizzle. Thank you to Mana, Tatiana & the team from Whariki Jiu Jitsu, for lending us your podium & running the MMA divisions.

Without all of your help we couldn't run these events & give these students the opportunity to grow.

Thank you to all our students, for your commitment to tomorrow's tournament.

We have 80+ competitors across 7 events.

We kick off at 9AM sharp.

Juniors will begin in the main space, I am planning to have their day completed by midday.

Students competing in MMA you will need to be here from the start as Senior and intermediate MMA will run in the Whariki space in the morning.

Kickboxing sparring will begin between 11 & 12, don't be late.

TKD students, bring your do bok for the light continuous sparring.

All students sparring will need a mouth guard. Boys wear a groin guard. Everyone will need their own gloves and shinguards.

If you don't have all your own equipment, don't panic we have everything for sale at reception.

Head gear will be compulsory for all 12+ matches. TMAA can supply head gear.

Bring a drink bottle and snacks, although drinks and a sausage sizzle will be available on site.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

Our very deserving Nak Muay of the Week, Sam.

This past week, Sam put on a couple of clinics competing in Auckland.

She is the epitome, of what you look for in a student, diligent, generous with her knowledge and time, a real team player, focussed, disciplined, courageous and very tenacious.

Well done Sam, thank you for being an exceptional student, and great role model for other students!
