Still thinking about art classes this term? 🎨

We've made some changes to our schedule and are now offering a Thursday morning Homeschool Art Class for students aged 7+.

Throughout the term, students will explore a variety of projects using printmaking, mixed media, and painting techniques in a fun, supportive environment. There will be opportunities to learn new skills while also encouraging creativity and individual interests.

Well, that’s a wrap for the July holidays. We have had a great two weeks with 89 bookings over 7 days of art and holiday programme- lots of fun art projects, and the coolest kids in town. Thankyou to everyone who joined us …. Learning new techniques, exploring their own interpretation of projects, making new friends- we hope you have enjoyed coming as much as we have enjoyed having you here. A huge thankyou to Mel, (PA) for doing all the bookings and admin and to Jan for being such an amazing collegue and friend to work with. Our planning for the next holidays is already underway and will have flyer out around week5-6 of term 3.
We start our Term 3 programme next week with homeschool and afterschool classes. We still have spaces left so contact us if you would like details . We hope you all have a wonderful term and thanks again for all your

Need time to be creative?

Our Space to Create class is the perfect opportunity for older students and adults to explore their own artistic interests in a relaxed, supportive environment.

🎨 Fortnightly Wednesdays
⏰ 1:00–3:00pm

Whether you're working on your own project, trying new techniques, or simply wanting dedicated creative time, this class gives you the space to create at your own pace with guidance from an experienced art teacher.

Suitable for ages 12 years through to adults.

After School Art Classes are back for Term 3!

Looking for a fun and creative activity after school?

Our after school classes are designed for children aged 6–12 years, giving them the opportunity to explore a range of art materials and techniques while creating artwork they'll be proud of.

Calling all Arrows Homeschool families!

Our Term 3 Art Class is back for students attending the Arrows Homeschool Group.

This term we'll be exploring a variety of exciting projects focusing on printmaking, mixed media and painting, with opportunities for students to develop their skills while following their own creative interests.

There will be a mix of planned projects and guided activities to encourage confidence, creativity and technique development.

Looking for a creative outlet for your homeschooler?

Our Developing Artists class is perfect for young artists aged 7–11 years who love to create, experiment and build confidence in their artistic skills.

Join us on **Thursday 16th July** as we create a vibrant Auckland cityscape inspired by the *Kapai* books!

Using watercolours and markers, students will bring Auckland Harbour and the city skyline to life, with the option to include Kapai Kiwi soaring above the city.

🥝✈️ Kapai Wants to Fly ✈️🥝

Join us on Tuesday 14th July for a fun mixed media art class inspired by the beloved Kapai books.

Students will explore watercolour, pastel, pen, stencilling, and stamping techniques while creating a colourful artwork featuring Kapai Kiwi.

✨ Suitable for ages 6+

🎨 **Monday 13th July Mixed Media Programme Update!** 🎨

Our Mixed Media Day is now split into two creative sessions:
🦋 **Morning:** *Timeless Butterflies* (9.00am–12.00pm)
🐝 **Afternoon:** *Birds & Bees* (12.30pm–3.30pm)

Join us for a half-day session or stay for the full day and create both projects. It's a fantastic opportunity to explore mixed media techniques and create artwork that's uniquely their own.

✨ **Spaces are also still available on Tuesday and Thursday, with both full-day and half-day options available.**
